ok, the round-by round recount numbers don't exactly breed confidence in Americans ability to count
it began as a 2,476-2,476 tie
and then each subsequent round both numbers varied by ±10
they did 10 recounts, this was the 10th and final
it's not that large of a number either
<5,000 votes total in the district
idk what you do, I think we just can't count
oh, ok someone explained it in more detail
it's one "recount" process, which involves 10 individual recounts of the ballots
so the 10 different numbers were not seperate rounds, they were the individual tallies the recounters came to
and then they picked the most common number (mode)

there's no procedure they have to follow, so all of the 10 recounters have their own process
so some might group, some might tally, some might just start counting sequentially
Dialga, that's one of the worse ways imo
but then again, idk the math behind it, that's my gut feeling

it's a lot of signatures in a day, but I feel like it would need to be an order of magnitude bigger to trigger snap elections
yeah, we'll see if it gets to the point where politicians can't ignore it
the weird angle is I'm 100% sure Musk is going to push this to all British Twitter accounts
and people will use that to complain about foreign interference or w/e
