My big theory though is in the future we wont be colonising planets but instead just live on spaceships. Planets will just be radioactivr wastelands due to nukes and everyone will have digferent forms of governments on their spaceshups

imo, monarchies only make sense in the context of SMALL states, which the world is moving away from popular sovreignty is dead, more nations will consolidate the small nations around them and we're gradually returning to regional blocks
The small monarchies will survive because they're "quaint" and thrive off tourism and, like you said, their size. Too small to matter. It'd be more of a headache to integrate them than they're worth

If we returned to a decentralized construct of nations, and devolved huge amounts of power locally (confederations) then I could see monarch type power being held again

Added bonus of not needing to actually do anything because you already told everyone it's the enemy's fault. If nothing happens it isn't your fault, it's the voters fault for not voting hard enough

Why shouldn't they be issue #1? It's an issue people care about so people will vote based on their opinions of it.
I mean fair enough it just feels silly, we should've been past this by now

Spooky thinks that it would be worthwhile to try to define bounds on abortion as a means of compromise but neither side wants that because then they can't fundraise off of it

My stance on abortion is quickly becoming close to my stance on Israel Palestine Kill em all at this point idc

Trump won't do much if he wins, we saw that 8 years ago already. Kamala won't do anything either though since the "elites" don't trust her with the steering wheel

Truthfully if trump loses I won't be that upset I just want him to win to see the epic freakout that will come after
Honestly I would also like to see this. Also more of my friend support trump than not so they will be more annoying if he loses
Spooky Phijkchu politics
I strongly want Trump to win, because I do still have some hope that he'd enact more change in a system that I think DESPERATELY needs anything it can get even a tiny bit is better than the course we're on now

It'll be funny at first but it's gonna get really old unfortunately

I really think at a certain point, we're going to squander the potential of America and the work of the 1900s that got us to this point on-top of the world and we keep kicking the can 4 years at a time, eventually it will bite us
Wuvwand politics
In order to be on top of the world we have to be recognized as on top of the world, if nobody wants to do business with us because Trumps being an asshole that creates a problem
