Canadian public sentiment about immigration is at an all time low and dropping
mainly because 80-90% of the immigrants all came from the same region of India, so we basically just imported their culture here

my first visit being "you should just die" would sure be something

so maybe once
but since then, no. I've had no reason to go to a hospital
to do what?
I am not waiting 8 hours for a checkup
Hospitals are a priority system
are you dying, then you are in right away

I was disillusioned at some point, once I realized doctors just follow their own internal WebMD thing to diagnose you
You get meds dialga, so thats different
you can get pills online now via GoodRX and you can walk into a clinic/hospital 24/7 if you need treatment for something
If I need a doctor for something, I'll find them, I just never really understood the yearly checkup thing
and I hate all the bureaucracy related to network doctors and referrals
how are they going to find cancer?
they'll miss it 99% of the time
unless you tell them "hey I've got this lump"

I mean, I don't even think they do that until you're 50
unless you specifically ask
If I was >50, checkups make more sense
I think at 25 while not being genetically predisposed to anything, it does not matter

I would like checkups if I felt like a doctor could provide a service, there are plenty of minor things or w/e
I do go to the dentist twice a year though
I just don't think they can really provide that service
