I think them trying to send him to jail increases Trumps chance of winning 10 fold
His base has been hyper invigorated
which is what he needed after acomplishing nothing and having his hype die down
I also think if he does not win, there is a chance for another jan 6th event where nothing happens but people call it the worst attack on democracy in history
