BDSP pretty much got cucked by legends arceus and gen 9 reveal

which is funny because it very likely will be better than gen 9

No, BDSP can just softlock you without even trying to pull off glitches

never happened to me so idk

I had zero issues with the game

I think it always had to do with autosave triggering at a point where an unnoticeable glitch already took place

And then you get stuck on the wrong plane for eternity

its definitely not the best made game

thats for sure

I just have no faith that gen 9 will not be worse

considering how shit modern pokemon is

BDSP was only saved by the fact that it was a remake of pokemon at its peak

gen 4 overrated

but that does help

It’s rated, not over

gen 3 > 4

every day of the week

and 5 > 4

4 is a good third place

I personally prefer 3, but 4 does everything the best

And 5 is when I lost interest in the series so I can’t rate it very high

5 was the last game that was not bad (that is not a remake)

XY was bad, SunMoon was bad, SwordShield is laughably bad

5 had a very bland dex

But did most other things well

I think post gen 3/4 most of the dex additions started being more bad than good

The fundemental problem with pokemon is it needs to release a new gen rapidly so they can make new pokemon and sell new toys

I don’t think anything up to sword and shield was actually bad

I can be argued out of SunMoon since I barely played any of it

i thought sun and moons story was decent, x and y was just bad in my opinion

I think xy/Sun moon it felt like they atleast tried

So I give them more credit than they might deserve I guess

I had fun with Sun and Moon

Never played XY

you either walked slow af, or slippery skate in x/y

your rivals were more like npcs

the bad guy barely showed up

the goal of the bad guys is to destroy humanity

champion sucked ass

gen 9 will have pokemon encounters like arceus most likely. instant upgrade no matter what
