i mostly was looking at trianglepath because of the choices

i love games where choices matter

at least in octopath, the choices didn't diverge the story much at all

you'd get some different dialogue, maybe some different encounters

but i love diverge in stories

I think Triangle looked a lot better

I'm definitely picking it up when it comes to PC

I think it's just been overshadowed by all the bigger releases going on

imma try the demo

and see if i enjoy it

demo is up to chapter 3

and the save transfers

so just play that

any interest in watching me play or nah

if not im 100% good with that, more focus

so we can probably expect events for those at some point maybe

switching back to bdsp after so much of arceus is so jarring lmao

BDSP pretty much got cucked by legends arceus and gen 9 reveal

which is funny because it very likely will be better than gen 9

No, BDSP can just softlock you without even trying to pull off glitches

never happened to me so idk

I had zero issues with the game

I think it always had to do with autosave triggering at a point where an unnoticeable glitch already took place

And then you get stuck on the wrong plane for eternity

its definitely not the best made game

I just have no faith that gen 9 will not be worse

considering how shit modern pokemon is

BDSP was only saved by the fact that it was a remake of pokemon at its peak

gen 4 overrated

but that does help

It’s rated, not over

gen 3 > 4

every day of the week

and 5 > 4

4 is a good third place

I personally prefer 3, but 4 does everything the best

And 5 is when I lost interest in the series so I can’t rate it very high

5 was the last game that was not bad (that is not a remake)

XY was bad, SunMoon was bad, SwordShield is laughably bad

5 had a very bland dex

But did most other things well

i thought sun and moons story was decent, x and y was just bad in my opinion

I think xy/Sun moon it felt like they atleast tried

So I give them more credit than they might deserve I guess

you either walked slow af, or slippery skate in x/y

your rivals were more like npcs

the bad guy barely showed up

the goal of the bad guys is to destroy humanity
