I believe this analysis based on me and Polu playing. I did a lot of solo grinding and am probably like 40 levels ahead of him, but it never felt like we were doing different amounts of contribution to the stages
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7H_zKV1il8 someone tested how coop works in Splatoon raiders, and this is an interesting way to handle coop in a game where players can have 100+ differences in levels
this isnt unique
Okay, but I did not know that splatoon raiders did it
I think its a good system, so I am glad they used it
if your game has easy linear scaling that seems like a good way to do it
Yeah, I think it works well for the type of game raiders is
would not neccecarily want it in different types of games
Singleplayer outscales you anyways, since after you beat all the game content there is just an endless procedurally generated mode that you cannot scale your damage to do forever anyways
non-instanced horizontal progression is great
but lately I feel like games are lazy, and add it only for the new DLC/area
and don't actually make it work with the rest of the game
We need to hang more developers, the only answer
a sub-sub-submenu
where you get 15 yellow gems to slot into something
Make it so your game natively runs microsoft excel and you are expected to use it
