Makes sense for the war with kalos to be with them
Terrastilized mega Pokémon would be insane for the Mets

its almost outright confirmed
and its the disk pokemon that made them right
basically, the lore says the violet/scarlet books were fake tourism books and the professor as a kid read them and was like"nah this shits real dawg" so he explored area zero and it just so happened there was a pokemon that could make dreams/wishes real and it made them real
because it makes terasteelizing too
