Also, like I said, lots of the base Pokemon have awful BST.
The fairy has awful attack.
Palafin seems op, maybe held back by limited coverage

It's okay, its ability makes it a little restricted, but it stays hero for the rest of the battle.
Since its base form is still dolphin-shaped it probably doesn't get punching moves
