basically, there are set paths

and a world map with levels

it is free roam with linear objectives too

I think this is the better way to do 3D games anyways

They limit how high you can hover

The basic gameplay loop is

• Go to instanced level
• complete all the objectives and save the waddledees
• Sometimes go back to the main hub to see if saving waddledees unlocked anything

Gun ability is so cool

Spike being a rolling ball is also a really good change

These treasure roads are fun

that you can only access if you fly over them and press A on the map?

the hidden ones are the actually hard ones

Some of the side missions are a pain to find

I think the best comparison to be made is 3d world

yeah probably. I had not played that one

so it did not jump to mind

So far the only complaints I have are that the music up to world 2 is not quite up to the usual kirby standard of great, and things far away tend to have laggy animations

upgrading abilities is cool

upgraded gun and bomb are my favourite two so far

Invincibility candy remix is cool

I like the stupid gacha capsules

when you unlock the deliverys if you use CLEARDEMO you get 300 star dollars

I did not realize they went to 4 stars

the capsule machine stopped me for Vol 1

I have not unlocked Vol 2 yet, I assume you get more as the game progresses

upgraded crash ability is insanely cool

ah, you unlock Vol 2 of the capsules after world 3

upgraded gun is probably the most powerful ability in the game

Got my first tier 3 upgrade

but the sleep upgrade is hilarious

I just got into world 4, Ive been busy with family

I have 54% completion, just about to get the last ability upgrade (I think, unless sleep/crash have a tier 3 or there are secret teir 4s)

World 5 is my favourite mechanically and music wise
