Kirby aquired
Nintendo really likes having songs with lyrics now huh
this one is in Jap though
Controls are really responsive and the car is fun to drive
even if its stupid as fuck still
and makes me laugh
Game as far as being open world is more like Ocarina of Time than BotW
if that makes sense
mario odyssey vs botw might've been a better comparison
basically, there are set paths
and a world map with levels
it is free roam with linear objectives too
I think this is the better way to do 3D games anyways
They limit how high you can hover
The basic gameplay loop is
- Go to instanced level
- complete all the objectives and save the waddledees
- Sometimes go back to the main hub to see if saving waddledees unlocked anything
Gun ability is so cool
Spike being a rolling ball is also a really good change

have you noticed there are hidden ones yet
that you can only access if you fly over them and press A on the map?
the hidden ones are the actually hard ones
Some of the side missions are a pain to find
yeah probably. I had not played that one
so it did not jump to mind
So far the only complaints I have are that the music up to world 2 is not quite up to the usual kirby standard of great, and things far away tend to have laggy animations
upgrading abilities is cool
upgraded gun and bomb are my favourite two so far
