It is commonly believed that ice is the worst type. In actuality, normal is far and away the worst type since there is only 1 viable normal type (chansey/blissey) and several good ice types

I can explain some of them

So hidden power, return/frustration, and pursuit were known for being difficult to script

I think all of them have extremely niche glitches tied to them

As well as some of the other removed moves like secret power or whatever else

could return/frustration not just act like a stab boost

check for level of happiness and if above x threshhold do this damage

did it not do that

Pursuit in particular probably interacted really weirdly with dynamax
