Mario 64 on SON64 is prolly gonna be about equal to Wii VC, prolly without the platform raising in BitFS
Shame that we're prolly not getting smash 64 any time soon because of Ultimate
I mean
what people would kill for is melee
64 is a novelty, but I think most people would rather play ulti over it
I mean, competitively yeah ultimate is obviously better, but 64 has 2 things over it for me
Charm, and nostalgia
64 has a lot more charm than the rest of the series imo
And a lot of that comes from being the first in the series
I only ever played 64 once, and after melee and brawl
so I am not really nostalgic for it
I played 64 a bunch as a kid, and skipped melee right into Brawl, since I never had a gamecube growing up
And technically the Wii can play gamecube but I didn't know that for the first uh
Two years I had it
I think I used my wii more for gamecube games than wii games
because the disk spinning component in my gamecube broke
also I used the gamecube gba attachment to play my gba games, since my gba and ds had fucked R buttons
I had PS2 and N64 until I got the wii
I wish I had gamecube during that era
Cause I would have loved to have a gameboy player when it came out
