The neverending cutscenes were a neverending nightmare

Good pokemon design, good diversity on what to catch, good looking game for a 3ds

The starters were all subpar

I much prefer the art to gen 6 chibis though

The evolution lines were fun

other than the gen 3 remakes, have all the remakes just been better in every way

the gen 1 remakes were great, gen 2 remakes are probably some of the best pokemon games

Gen 2 remakes are the best pokemon games despite their Gen 4-ness

The return to kanto was a bit lackluster
