Yeah I remember what 2 and 4 are now

they were some of the better films

1 would be a 7 if it was not the first film

swap 2 and 1 and it becomes better inherently

They fail to establish anything in 1

because its no acts like it was released when it should have been chronologically

the meta of the film is broken if that makes sense

I am fine with the non-chronological order storytelling except for that one instance

it needs to establish things being the first story

I think 1 is moreso there to draw you in, flashy action, interesting setting and characters etc

I had no investment for 1

things kind of just happened

it doesn't have anything all that important to the overarching story because it is literally just one of the jobs she does

I get that. Again it does not need to be important to the story

there to give you a feel for the world and such

anyways though

it just needs to do the bare minimum to establish the characters and setting, and I don't think it does enough

to do that

I think we mostly agree about which movies are good tbh, just slightly differing opinions on the reasons and such

So I think it fails on the most technical level of being a movie

I'm satisfied because I got some nice animation, good music and more screentime for characters I love with said exposition dump
