the Mario Kart Wii decomp is getting shit on for "using AI"
and for the first time, I think there are more people calling people retarded for caring about AI code, than there are anti-AI people

I'm of two minds, because I think the run was well explained, but also trans shit got brought up 3 times
And I saw the mario kart wii stuff. My general thought is, if it is purely AI coded then I don't think its worth trying. Part of what I like is seeing things people made
buy ifAI was just used as a tool, then that is literally what 90% of programmers are doing anyways
Inference token pricing is actually cheap, and has to compete with running local LLMs
The big labs lose all their money training, which is why the way they do subscriptions & tokens just doesn't make sense
It's different (but similar) to the old argument of low-level Assembly vs compilers
My only fallback on that is I doubt it will ever get cool updates if the guy making it doesn't even understand the code
