My favorite implementation of the game corner is Pokemon Clover's, where its intentionally rigged and the devs suggest farming Compest to get the money instead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ik_aF2nng_8

ニンテンドー ゲームキューブ Nintendo Classics 追加...

I hope it brings the price of the original down :)
Emulation already exists, I do not think the existence of digital games affects physical prices
There is a decently large portion of people will not play a game using an unofficial method.
I am aware, but I do not think the price of physical media is being pushed by them
I think its people like you that are the problem (people who want massive collections)
Don't get me wrong though, I do like physically buying my games, but if would never second hand purchase one (unless I see a game at like, a goodwill back when you could actually find good games just for sale there)
If the option is there, I will always pick physical over digital or god forbid a service like NSO, and while I know the price is not guaranteed to go down after a rerelease like this. I don’t like the idea of writing off the possibility either.
I am not in a rush to go get this particular game either so if it takes a while to find a reasonable price I am more than willing to wait.
Vinny do you even play FE games, I do not remember ever discussing them with you
I’ve played a bunch of fates, most of three houses, beaten awakening, played the card game with you in tts, I have a heroes account I haven’t touched in ages, and I started the crossover with smt
Replying to Phijkchu_Cynnydaquil #vinnyg There is a decently large portion of people will not play a game using an unofficial method.
like 5 people on planet Earth
no vinny is right there are a lot of "I will not pirate that is immoral" people
they are weird
I disagree, there are a lot of lazy people, very very few are principally anti-retro-game emulation
(yes I know it's literally more than 5) but it's functionally an irrelevant number
I see more people saying “emulation is fine but pirating is bad” than anything
Now, I will do the path of least resistance for games. If I had NSO + Expansion, I would probably play any games from there that I want to play on there
but I do not have the expansion pack
I think a lot of people are like that too pika
Should have been in the Switch family
I actually think the NSO emulation suite is decent, not worth the price given how little they care/support it
I think you'd get actual agruements in favour of it if they at least had every first party game
but its so few games, with dripfeed additions
It kind of just exists as a nintendo direct padding where they can show off 2-4 new gamecube games coming soon (tm)
then soon is like, 5-6 months
I split the cost with a couple people so I’m not paying the full $80 outta pocket, makes it more bearable
