that's the earliest one I am aware of

and Poketpopia or whatever is a DQB style game if anything

(which itself is probably inspired by harvest moon to some degree)

DQB was interesting, because I think both were good games, but left very little legacy afterwards

I am speaking under a strong assumption that there will be combat in this new game

if this is just a boring cozy farm game then I am far less likely to buy it

you get a massive area to build your town then only get to place 7 buildings

I did a marcusless hard run once with a mod where lords can die. Lyn became an important units among 8 others who beat the game
