TL;DR, the guy who did it was focusing on making mod support instead of working on recomp itself, so hopefully now that he is done that, we should actually start getting some recomps

One of the mods in particular is archapelago support for recomp
with a funny haha model
I have also gathered by mod he meant more in the literal sense of modification, in the same way ship would say enhancement
so he has been working on making MM recomp have more enhancements
also apparently the HD texture pack is smaller than the other releases
recomp has a built in mod manager
alright, this is a neat sidegrade to 2ship I guess

So far as far as recomps go we have MM, and the completely unrelated but inspired sonic unleashed recomp which was pretty damn good from what I played of it

Tbf, oot rando tends to be what I default to when I wanna play something but I'm not in the mood for anything specific
I was on a oot rando kick when 9.0 dropped
