again, patents are just "hey judge look at this I "totally" own this" when it comes to digital ('idea') patents like this
they are just using it to have some basis for their argument
I mean, that is probably fine. IIRC with patents you can prove you created it first but just filed later
there is a very clear line of evidence that yeah, nintendo was doing this specific stuff before palworld
