Ok, I didn't get to see the direct so I wasn't sure. I actually kind of like the 3D, but it doesn't look very good in some shots.

I think it looks pretty good, but I've only played the first game in the series

i've only played dream team and I hated it, and apparently its one of the worst ones

I think superstar saga had a ton of charm

I have rose tinted goggles but I think dream team is awesome

of the mario rpg's I've played, I'd rank paper mario > superstar > mario rpg remake

I guess paper mario sticker star at the far bottom, only got through chapter 1 of that

my favorite is BiS, followed by superstar and then dream team. I've not played any of the rest but I know the horror of paper jam

My friend also told me BiS is probably the best, or at least his favorite.

It looks promising but the first two super mario partys haven’t really impressed me

I hated the first Switch Mario Party, really liked the second one

The second looked okay but not enough for me to pay $60

What was your issue with Superstars?

superstar is debatably one of the better mario parties

I honestly liked how the gameplay looked but something about the new maps weren’t really doing it for me

And I don’t have many people to play it with

The first Super Mario Party had bad minigames and map designs. Forcing single joy-con made it uncomfortable to play. The coin economy was horrible.

So I just didn’t end up getting it which contributes to my neutral opinion on it

The first super game looked like ass, I only liked the character dice and even then that just meant you actually had a gameplay incentive to fight over characters which sounded unfun

Plus no playable toadette

Superstars rebalanced some old minigames and changed how older maps worked

Character dice's fucking suck

All Mario Party characters should be the same

I liked the concept of it but I never got to see it in action. It’d make a neat gamemode but yeah they should all be equal

I main Daisy in Mario Party, she has the best dice and I still think it's shit

The fact that there could be a “meta” for character picking is retarded af

But a separate party mode? I’d be interested in seeing it return

But yeah the second one after thinking on it looked pretty good but it was just at a bad time for me when it released

Playable zelda, metroid teaser, mario and luigi. Admittedly, I probably won’t play any of those games, but I’m happy for their fans.

The Metroid gameplay kind of reminded me of halo though

I think I played one of the old ones

I remember playing a Metroid multiplayer game on my DS via someone else’s cartridge

And having a lot of fun

I would recommend at least trying the prime series
