unironically, if you had to ask me to list my favourite indie games, OWH is one of my top games
Moving to a hex grid is interesting
it looks less dense than OWH+, but more dense than the remake was
It moving to card based is strange
I will have to see how it works out
I think those are just the abilities
but instead of being in a menu, they're cards
maybe, you keep your character abbilities (lockpick, jump, etc)
but the more 1-time-use stuff are now cards
I could see the system being better, but I'll have to play it
the hex thing is a more interesting change
I think it'll make ranged positioning worse?
because you now have that awkward 2 spaces away that doesn't have LOS
Yeah, unless they add some AoE 2-3 hex range skills

between civ and huniepop
I have 50 hours total between the two games
which is respectable on my list
I have 82 between both
66.5 on OWH, 15.5 on mystery chronicles
I only found this because the dev wrote a review for that new Shiren game on the Switch
it's kind of weird how nothing from the non-english internet is ever served via search engines
