I feel like there will be some good lore to find in totk (not that I'm that far into it either)

I'm at 30-ish shrines
Sunday, May 14, 2023
Part of it's the brainrot of playing "efficiently" and not to have fun
the shrines with the car/tanks in them, I spent forever just fucking around with death traps
but I could see people trying to min/max hating those
the puzzle shrines in are definitely a step up from botw, but a lot of them are "figure out what this contraption does" more than an actual puzzle
though, imo the puzzles near the start were way better than the later game ones
before they just throw a million different parts at you
have you beaten everything now Max?
You can also easily beat most shrines in a non intended way using a simple time reversal on a falling block. This game more so that BotW is very open ended in how you engage with the content and what tools you can use

yeah you can solve a lot of puzzles by lifting a block up and away from you
oh lol, that's funny
I've not tried that
gliding feels unaccounted for in a lot of places, which is weird for a game ABOUT THE SKY
My favourite "ignore the puzzle" thing you can do is, you can walk on essentially all the rails
and just ignore several puzzles

you can shield grind on them
did not know that, thats funny too
I have mostly just been fucking around exploring
I figured that out at the tram village thing, while I was trying to upgrade their monorail
game seems harder than BotW enemy wise so far, possibly because I literally only upgrade stamina and am still at 4 hp, but I think the enemy encounters are a bit less bland the botw

its because they fucked up damage values
I've done zero upgrades with the great fairy, and don't wear a hat because I like link's hair
but them spawning black mobs right off the bat, that one-shot
I have not found the fairy yet lol
but interesting to know me getting 1 shot by everything is not strictly a low hp thing
idk why the dmg is still broken after botw, at least there enemies were gated so you didn't notice the broken dmg scaling
oh boy
well, good thing I am probably going to find all the shrines before I even step foot in a dungeon I guess at this rate
I mean, just upgrade your armor Pika
When I find the fairy lol
then you'll want harder mobs
My essential movement is find a sky island rock, then glide somewhere
I noticed that too
and if not I move slowly
though I still did the Zora shit first
and spent way too long getting lost not finding their gay hub world
Rito is the only village I've been to, just have not done the dungeon
well, actually, I went to the desert villiage first
by accident
