Max, do you know what amiibos are "worth" anything in totk
in botw, I remember wolf link being good, but the rest gave like apples or w/e
oh, ok lol
just ignoring them
I was really hoping I didn't have to go get my amiibo coins back out of my moving boxes
like I did for Engage
that's a winner
I can't decide whether I like flipping the jump controls or not
I think I'll keep them as default
but B for jump feels better if it didn't also change everything else

Well that was 110 dollars spent
i hope you're happy phijkchu pikachu
Thanks zyton. I am happy, but annoyed at the game price hike
new zelda
In canadia, 60 USD games cost 80, so now that it is 70 USD it is 90 plus tax
I guess it was only 100
not 110
that is some bad rounding
I rounded 101.69 to 110 lol
I am glad I actually bought that microsd
now I have space on my switch again
it's Japan, so we'll never get this
but I'm genuinely curious about this game, how it came to exist, what the design principles were
imo, the core systems of the world feel like they were from a long list of things that were concepts for botw
and just never made it in because they wanted to keep botw more simple
I'm genuinely impressed by the direction of totk
probably accurate. As far as how I know how Nintendo works, a lot of their games come from scraped ideas from older games that they either did not have enough time to do, or they physically could not get it to work with the hardware at the time
I think seeing the Nintendo ideas vault would be interesting
I watched a ton of interviews back in the day about botw, what the dev cycle was like
how long they spent building a prototype module, to nail down the game systems
agreed
I am sure BotW was more them testing the waters too though
they probably did not want to go to deep. Same feel I got for kirby
I think every one of the core abilities or systems here that is "new" was probably prototyped for botw
and cut to keep it streamlined
totk is VERY different from what I was expecting ngl
yeah
idk if the DLC team thing in true
but this should not have taken them this long
though I feel that way about all of Nintendo's stuff
I feel like part of it was they wanted to wait for the new switch, but they all the chip shortages delayed them doing that, so them taking this long did not pay off
not that I've played the game yet, still in the intro cinematics
Max posted that we're still a year+ away from the Switch 2
