this is probably my biggest complaint with the game

day 1 patch made this game look a LOT better

better: shrines puzzles overworld combat difficulty worse: like 4 new armor sets dungeons suck bosses suck world feels more dead than botw somehow not many "wow" moments no eventide island or master trials equivalents

they made mini shrines that take away your shit like eventide/master trials, but they literally didn't realize the reason that the trials are eventide were the best part of the game is because you slowly gained gear and survived with limtied resources, giving link a stick and telling him to kill 3 robots then you win is literally ignoring the entire point

and the nu overworld is kinda empty, more things to kill and collect but less "stuff"

like wow all these scattered minibosses... that dont do much...

in botw at least for killing a lynel you get the best weapons in the game, but in this the equivalent drops of many mini bosses is same dps as attaching a horn from a silver bokoblin.

a lot of the building puzzles you can just.... ignore and do manually and its usually faster

im at like 125/150 shrines

and i finished the underground and sky

and im at 4/5|dungeons

i think botw is the better game honestly...

but i dont think i can ever go back to it after this
