because i listen to cds and the radio a lot i have this funny thing where my phone is always recording what audio plays in the background using pixelnph, which gets logged by panoscrobbler, which then gets sent to lastfm

so like even at the bar, all music i hear gets added to last fm

Back when it was Pandora and Last.fm as the big 2 music sites, they were doing a good job

But they gave up at some point

yeah rip pandora, lastfm is still fun, no other site/app that has the same function

i like it more than stuff like rym, dont like being a snob about music. just enjoy the stats and all that, listen to tons of music, more than i read books or watch other media

All i remember about Pandora is liking one song and ruining the entire station by accident

I've had last.fm setup to scrobble in Spotify since the beginning, but I just checked now and at some point last.fm decided to stop functioning because I hadn't verified my email address

so it just cuts off in 2018
