you should always have a 4 way stop if one of the ways is obscured by a wall

the only time you should not have one is if you can clearly see both ways

guy with the stop sign is in the wrong

light by my dad's doesn't have a 4way because the two roads are just very different, like main artery vs this little shortcut road. instead they just have a ridiculous amount of warning lights and speedbumps on the ones with the stops, the other intersecting road gets a single flashing yellow, although idk what you would be yielding to if the other sides have a stop

the amount of warnings are also just ridiculous

I don't think there is a single area in my city like this
