it's because of how they do their livestreams

back when I was more involved with that original Delibird software, the devs were looking into all the open source methods, including what YT uses
none came close to Twitch
in terms of minimum latency
plus xqc streams on it!
I stil llike the YT player more, because I can pause
it's not ideal for a livestream
which I get
but how I watch most streams, I don't sit and actively watch live
yeah and that is useless
that is the same as just closing the stream and reopening it later
Because I don't care about vtubers or terminally online streamers
I want to watch the stream
I like that on youtube, I can have something to do for 20 minutes, then 1.25x speed to catch up
for the content

canadian server lads sorry
Replying to taxes #tzfi well its a live stream i dont really see the point of being behind
What do you personally do if you have to pause a stream for a few minutes
do you just not watch the part you missed
Thats the difference then, we like to actually watch the things we are watching
I get it with vtubers and forever streamers I guess
Do you actively post in chat?
where it's just background noise
why even watch the streams tbh, just watch highlight videos
We watch different content clearly
but your way makes sense
