The list price of insulin has gone from about $20 per vial in 1996, when Humalog entered the market, to about $275 per vial today. Humalog patients typically use about two vials a month, Lilly said......In February, the Senate Finance Committee sent Lilly a letter asking for more information about how it sets prices for its insulin products, including Humalog. The letter noted that taxpayers spend more than $1 billion a year for Humalog through Medicare and Medicaid and said, "When one insulin product costs the taxpayer more than $1 billion in one year, the American people ought to know how the company prices its product."
I think you care more about money than the average person here
appak
meanwhile spooky will buy 10k in semencoin just as a joke
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 I think you care more about money than the average person here
doubt
I think most of us just outright don't give a shit about money bopit
at all
Also caring about money long term does not mean you have to wagecuck while doing school
When do I buy things ever either
lmao
being frugal does not mean you do not care about money long term
So the interesting thing, is that assuming you can get a job without going to college, getting a job 4 years earlier and having zero college debt actually can set you up better financially
if you and the college fag retire at the same time
which is again, why living life on a spreadsheet fucking sucks
PhD is basically never worth if you care about money probably
PHD is never financially "worth" it
You get a PhD if you want to stay in academia
You can
and a lot do
just you don't need it to do so
I laugh at people who get their masters before getting their first job
more than if you go straight for a PHD
lmao based
spooky will laugh at me
aren't you getting a PHD?
you exclude that case
yeah
okay
same with people who do a 4-year degree in 5-6 years
for w/e reason
I did my 4 year in 5
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 I laugh at people who get their masters before getting their first job
do you laugh at me for getting my masters by taking 1 extra semester and doing a few more clesses for it?
I wanted to do more math
I got a pure math minor out of it, which has payed off for bopits sake
it's borderline Bopit
oh, in that case no
yeah, good move
fuck forced co-op semesters
downside is he has to do masters level math course and by that I mean he has to get me to help him understand group theory and differential geometry
Kappa
All masters programs in my field are 2 years so there is no way I would have been able to do that
there are some that are 1 year accelerated
do pure math mint
Kappa
