Here are some good ones, that are 144Hz or better
~$200 for the 1080p ones, ~$250 for 1440p
A few of them are on decent sales

and do you have normal ports on your computer
or are you like Pika, and only have miniDP
So I think the best monitor would be to spend $200 on one of those first two I linked
If you really wanted to spend more, there are better monitors
I think an argument could be made to get something like
