I tend to just use the feature to reopen closed tabs

partially because when expanding groups, you'll just go over the new (lowered) tab limit

so I'm better off just throwing them all into a new window and minimizing it

there's a new experimental Chrome feature that's also 50% of the way to being useful, the reading list

which I think is like a less shitty version of Firefox pockets
