not really any different to me. idk I guess it depends how you view the internet.
I still feel lime most web-culture things that happen or are created all spurn from 4chan
because at least to me it's one of the only centralized places on the internet that still creates
I too like to watch thots smear paint on their tits
creating fast food tier lists is indeed a lost art
that was the 10 minutes of Destiny I watched today
him making a goddamn tier list
or... if you scroll up in this chat
it was when I was testing out adblock
and was watching him
I don't respect Twitch streamers.... almost at all
but their community is insular enough that they do create things themselves too
most of it's done off-Twitch, but I'll give them credit that it's Twitch communities doing it
Twitch causes zeitgeisty stuff which was more what I was thinking of
I think to me it's hard to appreciate Twitch, when it's so divided between the streamers and the viewers
the community around streamers, and around general Twitch culture sure
I just really hate streamers if I'm being honest
the people, not the act of streaming
I'd say most, but I know you like a lot of them
I don't need to hash this out, it's fine. I'm not looking to pick a fight regarding massive online celebrities
thousands of people like them, and that's great
no, if we shot all the current Twitch streamers I think it would be fine
I like streams just fine
I think.... yeah like I said I don't need to rant about Twitch streamers
to summarize
fuck Fire for removing our pepe emote
Massive snowball fight on the National Mall as the D.C. area gets its biggest snowfall in two years. https://t.co/YdLLSdwNfY https://t.co/Ihj2jsCjof
From yesterday, but DC is comfy with the snow
We've got ~6 inches at this point
I'm sure glad biden cured corona so they could have that snowball fight
It's also """illegal""" because everything in DC is illegal
but it's fun, and DC meter maids will go away when there are too many people to fuck with
there's a polar plunge in the Potomac today I might go to
but the roads are all fucked up due to accidents right now
For some reason they re-opened DC schools today
first in-person day happens to be the day it snows
and the DC mayor is too much of a retard to do anything
so a bunch of kids died this morning when a school bus ran off the road
the "daily practice" didn't do shit
(they had every bus driver running their routes daily since the start of Corona)
with empty busses
so they'd be ready for this day
AND LOOK WHAT FUCKING HAPPENED
I pay Virginia taxes
so I'm safe
though DC schools might be federally funded come to think of it
because I can't imagine DC makes enough money otherwise
California and DC are the two most expensive school districts on average (per-person)
and are also two of the worst in performance
I was wrong, CA actually cut back a fair bit
DC is in #1 by a lot though
31k per student
