but i think that they went alittle to hard on the bad parts of pepe, and not enough on some of the better parts of pepe

because honestly, if i saw that movie and didnt know anything about pepe

i would think that almost ANYONE that used pepe

was a white supremacist or something

that's the failed propaganda part imo they didn't push hard enough to make it apparent that "4chan bad"

but pepe is also a relatively large thing on twitch

its pretty separated from the 4chan stuff

4chan isn't that big honestly

compared to other social media giants

but, I do think they create a disproportionate amount of content the rest of the web uses

of being the "meme creators"

which i think is kinda true, but not always

imo its gotten smaller in the last few years

its not as big as it was, but that could be that i haven't looked at it in a while

uh, 4chan is way bigger if you just mean in terms of raw numbers

but when so much mainstream culture went online, it created alternative paths that don't flow through 4chan

it's two very divorced realities online

yeah, that makes sense, if you dont look at something it seems smaller or not as significant

but in actuality its prob alot bigger

so im not surprised that it has grown, as most things tend to do

maybe i am just not present in these parts of the internet, but does it not seem as 4chan is pretty secluded now, then it was in the past. like more of the content on 4chan stays on 4chan and doesnt bleed onto other platforms?

i might be just unaware of the actual stuff that ends up coming from 4chan

not really any different to me. idk I guess it depends how you view the internet. I still feel lime most web-culture things that happen or are created all spurn from 4chan

because at least to me it's one of the only centralized places on the internet that still creates
