Also to clarify spooky, not all faculties are online only
small 4th year physics can be in person, and most of chem/biology is in person iirc
math is 100% online though
I just specifically only took online courses
because I am not taking the train until corona is dead (also they cancelled my bus/train pass since no one is using the train/bus so I'd have to pay like 6 bucks a day to ride it)
colleges are back in-person, but you get more leeway with rescheduling tests or other such things
K-12 is in person too, despite the teachers bitching and moaning about they'll die

anyway for us our K-12 system is floating the idea of extending the semester
since they admit nobody learned anything in the fall
and kids fell behind
They just just accept this year is fucked
no one moves up a grade

but that was what they were going to do if they were online again in the Spring
which made parents force teachers to suck it up
colleges are different
I mean, most high schoolers are college eligible as juniors
at that level you can be expected to self teach and learn
so they could probably still go
but who give the fuck about colleges
they already are fucked on finances

if they had to fire 75% of their bullshit administaration
we'd all be better off
they admitted 242% above capacity for their cs program since it was online anyways
just to make more money
They also raised international tuition from 40k to 50k
during corona
