I understand that this is the kind of thing I should google and check but I'm a bit overwhelmed right now, so I was hoping someone could help me out.
All of my roommates have tested positive. All of them have mild/no symptoms, and I have no symptoms till now. The problem is, I don't have a car and have basically no way to get to a testing center unless I take public transportation (which I'm not going to do) or walk the 2 kilometers. I was reading online and I realized that there's no benefit of getting tested since you'll have to quarantine for 14 days anyway. So do I need to get tested, or can I just, like pretend that I'm positive and quarantine and observe symptoms as usual?
FWIW, I work and study from home and almost never left the house outside of groceries. Last time I had actual physical contact was like over a month ago (ikr :/ ) which is why I'm leaning towards not getting tested since, outside of my own sanity, I feel like it'll do more hurt than harm.
Since I'm sure people are going to ask, my roommate works at Conestoga and she was semi-regularly meeting up with people so that's probably how it happened.
That post is amazing because it is them asking if they can stay home for 14 days when they work/do school at home already, or if they need a doctor to tell them to stay home
