how do they "close" grocery stores?

do police form a barricade outside of hundreds of different stores?

Apparently it was stores with employees that tested positive were immediately shut down for 2 weeks, which caused customers to flood into the remaining stores still open

but how were they "shut down"

that's the part I'm still not getting

I realize VA is different from NM

And since there's an order for limited capacity in a store at one time, it just becomes unfeasible to expect to get in when you need to

but I can't conceptualize what that looks like

I assume they send a slip of paper and the owners comply

but like... they got 100% compliance on a voluntary shutdown

I just can't imagine the logistics necessary to close that many stores

and the money better have been really good, for everyone to close voluntarily

I have a school project I'm working on that is asking me to compare buisness desktops to figure out which to buy

and I came across "tiny desktops" on best buy

just put it under the desk and be done with it imo

maybe it's easier for IT to take it out and put it back in but that's the only thing I can think of

I think it's mostly down to a preference thing. I feel like most schools/companies won't care because they're just going to replace the whole computer if something goes wrong
