we had a hot dog place when I was in college
and I can't conceive of a worse business model
it went under fast, after a couple semesters
yeah, but it's worse with hotdogs
because they're so, so cheap
and especially in colleges, hotdogs are everywhere already
so no one is buying a fancy $5 hot dog
Leg, were you ever really big on Chicago hotdogs?
even in Chicago, only place I can think of with iconic "fancy" hotdogs
they're still like $2
everywhere else... good luck running a hotdog only business
that's 2x-3x too much mustard
the best thing at portillos isn't their hotdogs, nor their roast beef

their dumb chocolate cake shake
is terrible for you and all, but it's one of the best deserts I've had ever

is an entire chocolate cake, blended up, and then cut with ice cream
Culvers is good, got them over here in mn
Culvers and Arby's
have the best sides
of any fast food
agreed, Texas Roadhouse's menu is pretty limited
compared to Logan's Roadhouse, the only thing Texas' Roadhouse has are the free butter rolls
I agree on the corral rolls
I can't recall ever eating at a Ryans
There's a semi-local chain of restaurants near me, that have the best rolls
well, they're not really rolls
they're deep fried little bread/doughnut hybrids

the pretzles + cheese
and tbh, I like their chili/fries too
