Moloch
Moloch (also Molech, Mollok, Milcom, or Malcam) is the biblical name of a Canaanite god associated with child sacrifice, through fire or war. The name Moloch results from a dysphemic vocalisation in the Second Temple period of a theonym based on the root mlk, "king". There are...

I'm all in favour of term limits, but a 2-term presidential limit is the least needed of all of them
considering most presidents are old enough to basically be in the grave usually, there is already like a natural 3-5 term limit
I go both ways on term limits a lot
because it's the age-old problem of democracies
you can never have an exceptional democratically elected politician, nor can you have an abjectly terrible one
but you negate this somewhat if you allow indefinite terms
it's one of those times where you vote against your interest
for the supposed benefit in the long term
voting has too many people involved to ever allow a genuine human decision to be made
so it's best to aim for policies that ensure the stability aspect
I think Russia is a good example, Putin is a truly exception leader who has made their country as great today as it's arguably been for the last century
and pulled them out of their all-time lowest point ~30 years ago
so he's been (legitimately) democratically elected as a psuedo-dictator
is that good? is that bad?
I go back and forth
