rtmp://phijkchu.live/stream
and then the stream key on your page
we can pretend like I changed it as some point
if it makes you feel better
in the stream key box
hey it works
nice
what stream settings are you using?
I promise you it's not a bandwidth thing on my end
this is what I use, I can go higher than 6k without issue
but 6k seems the most balanced when I reencode down for the other resolution options
dropdown at the top
simple/advanced
you have to stop the stream
to change it
also FYI, OBS is a little weird, it'll pretend it changes options somtimes while you're live, but will just be lying to you
For software encoding, simple options work fine, but for some reason the Nvidia encoder has really weird default settings
keyframes being 1 is the big thing
preset/profile matter less
dropdown at the top@Spooky Phijkchu
do you have h.265?
or are you like me, rocking an older GTX card
yeah, no fancy encoder for either of us
anyway, change that 0 to a 1
keyframe interval
that's the only setting that matters
tells the server to time the frames, instead of trying to dynamically adjust
other than the double audio (which is hard to avoid when you're testing)
looks good to me
now you muted all the audio
you klutz
in OBS, if you're capturing a window, rather than a region
you can split that audio off from your desktop audio
