anyway, with Ryzen 4000 being the new hot chip on the block, you can get really cheap Intel/older AMD laptops just about anywhere
for 4000-series chips, they've released high-end and low-end models so far
I've been waiting to see what comes out in-between
mostly depends what kind of build quality/keyboard you want honestly
I think that's 90% of the appeal of the laptop, specs be damned
it sucks that all the major brands have sabotaged their lower end models
they're all way more cheap feeling/looking than the used to be
since they want to push people into paying more for shit they don't need
