Doctor Strange was pretty good

I havent seen hulk, either antman, guardians 2, or doctor strange

ive seen guardians 2 quite a few times, mainly because my family likes it quite a bit

i think it was pretty good

Did that come out before or after doctor strange

I remember that one feeling very weird

and the weird stuff with that

I think it was what others have said about there being too much humor crammed in

i mean, the movie is mainly a comedy im pretty sure

its not supposed to be taken too seriously

Remember when they killed all of yondu's crew

Marvel had cranked the humor since the first Avengers movie

its still a marvel movie

Guardians getting such a good reception, helped too I'm sure

yeah, and more and more people came to watch their movies, so you cant blame them for trying to play more into what the majority of people are there probably there for (other then the fact that its superhero movies)

there seems to be a nice blend between when they need to be serious and when they can have humor

Well why should it slide just because they cater to their market

Sure. It breaks the sense of tension in a lot of cases, wears out pretty quickly on me

well i guess it depends on the movie, but atleast in my experience most of the humor isn't really there when there is tension, or atleast a lot of tension

but i could be wrong

and i can see how it could wear people out

Guardians 2 was probably the worst offender, all of yondu's loyal crew gets jettisoned open space then they go right back to making jokes

ah true

And the fight scenes were all very goofy

i could see how it would be weird for the characters to just not give a fuck

since some of them have known those people for probably quite some time

but it was also a mutiny, right?

Nebula took over and killed all the good ones except that one guy who frees yondu and rocket later on

Then nebula comes back to fight alongside them at the end

Imagine having watched a single marvel movie besides the best Spider-Man movies

I was going to wait until marvel talk was over to interject my story for today

That's kind of the problem though, it's just mediocre, and didn't have much of an effect by the end of it

Until civil war came along and tried to give it actual consequences

Yeah basically I didn’t work at my work office yesterday so they let a guy who was there for the day use it

And that guy just got back for his first day after being sick with corona

I do agree with the critisim that it ignores the ending of iron man 3

Until like an hour ago

It felt like a repeat of the first avengers movie

but then again, its tony stark

Anyways since no one cares I’m going to get corona

But the criticism that it ignored winter soldier with shield falling isnt accurate because agents of shield was canon at the time/still is im not sure

yeah, same avengers movie, with different scenery, and a few new people, one of which is immediately killed
