socializing healthcare is just another tax on the middle class
I'm not being facetious or trying to misrepresent what system Bernie is proposing
Medicare/medicaid could be improved, there are ways the government could step in to help improve what we have
but it's such a mess right now, I don't think changing where the money's coming from fixes anything
repeal all banking acts, dismantle the banks, then fix your culture of taking loans for everything
yes Gent, if only thay ate more meat
Kill everyone who is more then 10% above a healthy bmi
rip dolf and me
>punish people
no one is being punished under the current system, but it's crazy to say that you should be completely decoupled from your own personal use of all medical goods/services
What do you want me to say gent. America is fucked and you are never fixing the handful of fundemental problems you have because of (((some people))) who happen to own (((banks)))
I think tiered tax brackets are fundamentally fine btw
just it should not be so high that earning millions is not worth it
like a 5% increase every 100k to a point
is fine
Dolf, I pay 40%
it's insane
and like, how it is handled so the first X dollars is one percent, then the next Y is another percent, and so on
is fine
it's a travesty
"The top marginal tax rate in 1960 was 91%, which applied to income over $200,000 (for single filers) or $400,000 (for married filers) – thresholds which correspond to approximately $1.5 million and $3 million, respectively, in today’s dollars. Approximately 0.00235% of households had income taxed at the top rate." literally during the golden age of the middle class
Pohato, do you not understand, how debilitating high taxes are
to the people... working for it
91% is insane
like, say first 100k is 30%, next 100k is 35%, next 200k is 40%, that seems fine
but 91%
fuck that
yes we know how brackets work
at least I assume everyone here knows
