Replying to Aelin #aeldritch
Haha that’s awesome - my husband and I both got BAs in Film and we both ended up in IT
Completely unrelated, I was wondering why the name Aelin looked familiar to me. she's the MC of a YA book series my sister likes.

For context, everyone disagreed with me that this meme didn't make sense to me lol
I feel like the definition of stranger changes a lot when you're told that in elementary school to when you're in college it's not a sketchy man in a trenchcoat offering you heroin to corrupt your immortal soul and get you into the Pipeline™, it's some zooted guy you think was in your freshman-year psychology class giving everyone tabs at a party

Honestly, I've never been offered a drug (outside of alcohol) in a party. It's always been some hippies in the forest wanting to take shrooms or smoke weed with someone else

One time (more than 10 years ago) as I was walking up the street, barefoot, to buy some jam a guy stopped his car by me and asked if I had a spare phone I could give him. I said yes. He drove me to my place. I gave him an old phone. Then he drove me to his. He asked if there was anything I wanted. I said jam (and noticing that he had lots of paired socks around his place) and socks (you can never have too many pairs of socks). I guess he took pity on me since I was shoeless that day and gave me both. Then he gave me meth from a bong. But since I already took dex-amphetameme, all that did was get me to normal and make my mouth feel smoother.

He drove me back to my place, and I told everyone what happened. They were like "Pyrrhic. That guy was a drug dealer, and wanted a burner phone". I still keep one of those socks with me as a memento.

If your child came to you and asked for you to sign his permission slip to have a legal harem (Canadian First Nations loophole) would you sign it?
