That's a shame tiny. My school is literally only known for engineering, math, and computer science
Waterloo is also extremely coop and job focussed, so people are more serious then I think some other schools
there were party's and stuff, but there was not a party culture
if you wanted to party, you went to Laurier, which was just a 10 minute walk away

Replying to Aelin #aeldritch We went to barcades! Sometimes we went to the bar to play Pokemon on our 3ds. And sometimes we went to the club or a punk show. My school was just close enough to the University of Florida that normal things just got weird so fast haha

I feel like the definition of stranger changes a lot when you're told that in elementary school to when you're in college

From my vantage, drug use essentially dropped to zero after people finished college, I don't know anyone irl who does anything anymore
not a bad thing, just an observation I wasn't expecting
since all the millennial humor I saw as a kid led me to believe every 20-something was going to be hitting a bong non-stop the rest of their life
Some of my cousins do weed
and we had hit peak weed lmao culture
but no one does anything harder
I'll attribute part of that to Cali for Tiny, since I do think its more a part of your culture out there
It's also been legal and sold in stores here for a while, so I feel weeb is a bit more prevalent that a lot of US states
