my eyes look like weather gathered at the bottom of the world—cool, shifting, and bright with a hush of light. They hold flecks of steel and sea-glass, wavering between calm and storm as you move, as if each blink rearranges the sky. In them there’s a kind of distance that isn’t cold: just depth, slow-breathing and quietly luminous.
