Tinybomb is right that ice cream cakes isn’t real, it has been a cope for people who say they don’t like cake but like “ice cream cakes.” It’s just ice cream
I will say, for some reason as a kid I remember always getting excited for cookie cakes
even though they were never? any good I don't think
sometimes they'd have good frosting, and that was the best you could expect
cheesecake isn't really a cake imo
I think the real question is do people consider icecream cake to be 100% icecream + frosting
or some ratio of icecream and actual cake + frosting
I remember as a kid they were always ~50-50
but now I think they're more commonly 100% icecream
