we have to
wait
lmao
Max, if you thought the $22 chicken was bad
this meal is apparently $26
Thats insane
Fast food is way too expensive, and anyone who eats it got low IQ trapped (unless you have no other choice because you are on the road or something)
Today I bought some ground pork and made pork burgers

Low quality treat, I will still fuck up a 20 piece slop nugget. That said 16 dollar meals is not cheap and its better to just go get something better
I usually try to spend no more than 5 dollars for a meal if I can help it
most of the time its closer to 2-3
you can get meats on deep sale in bulk
I do that
Pika
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak you can get meats on deep sale in bulk
I too buy the Manager Special
if those are CAD
you're actually fucking with us
Those are CAD prices
you are not spending $1/meal
you're just not
I can break downt he meal I just ate. the pork burger was 1.25, the bun I got 8 for 2 doallars so another 0.25, and I had a garlic bread + cut up some cheese whichw as probably another 0.5 at most (do not feel like computing it)
No, I'm fine with that answer
eating out? I think its like 15 minimum for a meal
it's just fucking alien
I eat good food, I just only buy things on good sales/discounted
I refuse to buy things that are not on sale because its a scam
If I was going out specifically to get food at a resturant, I think I payed 35? last time I went out
I do not eat out often
Pika, a slice of deli meat is $1
so a sandwich itself is a minimum of $3
I ate a salad w/ chicken for dinner, and I think that was probably $6-7
A single slice of deli meat is 1 dollar?
where the fuck are you getting deli meat
thats nuts
DC prices
crazy
ham is <$1/slice
I can get like a weeks worth of sandwiches with 2-3 meats for 20 bucks
but turkey, and beef are all $1 per
multiple silices per sandwich, buns included in the price
I don't, because its a hastle, but I would not spend that much on food
DC is fucked
oh, I saw what kind of eggs Drone Girl buys
for the first time
it ws a $15 carton
I think the best dollar value meal I got was I got a spiral ham post easter last year for 50% off, payed like 20 bucks for 25ish meals worth of ham
for 12 eggs
some fancy hen eggs
I judged the shit out of her
If I spend <$10/meal that's a win imo
Anyways I spend about 150 a month on food, and I get more than a months worth of food with that
I think I settle around $1,000/month, but that includes eating out and such too
I also don't track it like a spreadsheet autist
I do not track mine either, I just loosely know how much I pay when I go to the store
and remember it
I do know when I'm getting ripped off though
even more than the normal DC markup
There are some things that are just comical
Yeah, if you do not buy stuff on sale, basically all stores are a scam nowadays
If I bought everything I bought, at full price, I'd probably be spending around 400 a month
which I could not afford
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 it ws a $15 carton
Looked it up, my local store the fanciest eggs I can find that they are selling is 10
Could get 12 for 4 right now of normal not artisan eggs though
I do not buy eggs though because they are not worth it, I only buy them if I am doing baking
I buy 90 eggs for $15
they come in a big box
