I got bothered when people in RedTeam said that computers are black magic, so I made those two meetings as a middle finger to let people understand how a CPU works at the fundamental level. And then advertised it at RedTeam to get more people to come to my meetings lol

Do you have a home server rack, Spooky? Mine is just a computer desktop below my router. I guess I only have two computers in my "home lab" so not really required for me

I can appreciate datacentre porn, but I like when people's homelabs are... actually doing something (if not full labbing) people who go on a midlife crisis spending spree so they can pirate movies is not interesting

That's awesome. I'd love to know how it goes! There's that one dude in Michigan who made his own ISP and seems to be doing well, giving all his neighbors cheap internet too.

linux people who have no interest in understanding computers and just want to rice annoy me
I think this might have sounded overly gatekeepery which I wasn't intending, when it's actual genuine middle school kids learning basic stuff its cool, or even people who just like the aesthetic aspects of it and leave it at that But I'm sick of this glut of old millennials who are seeking some weird validation whilst having no actual interest in the thing

i have probably already shared this here. but the extent of my home lab/server rack, one Raspberry Pi runs docker with everything homelaby i need running in containers. maybe some day soon ill have a use for an acual server

Goddamnit, this is why I hate irony. I have no idea if you're being serious or not and I'm a fool for believing that you're following along with the joke.
