it's a weird learned skill that I think most people pick-up (sorta like eating pasta with a fork)
but it's a completely unnecessary skill if you're not Asian
more normal, some chinese places will just have a little rubber band on the end

Thinking about it, I'm not sure toppings really influence the quality of a pizza much at all
you can put any random toppings on a good pizza, and it remains good
I think I mostly care about toppings if I'm getting a chain pizza and know they're going to be the only good part of it
