IEEE formats are genuinely stupid too, all the downsteam APA and MIT shit makes formatting anything annoying
In sensible non-technical fields, I swear there is less bullshit somehow
but all the Chinamen love repeating themselves 2 dozen times in IEEE format and including more formulas than God intended to ever exist for no reason other than to fill space and waste time
and somehow that became expected
Other fields have more publications by an order of magnituded FILLED with shit no one will ever read
but when you do
it's direct, to-the-point, and actually had a reason to be written down
in Engineering I swear
none of this shit matters
